This past weekend at Rockingham Speedway was full of highs, lows, and grit for SPS as both Tyler Reif and Spencer Gallagher hit the track in the ARCA Menards Series.

Tyler Reif started strong, qualifying P3 in the #23 and settling in early as a front-runner. But just before the halfway mark, contact with the wall brought his day to an early end. The SPS crew made every effort to get the car patched up and back out, but the damage was too extensive to continue.

“We had speed and were in a great position,” said Tyler. “It just didn’t go our way this time. I hate it for the team—they worked so hard. But we’ll regroup, reset, and come back stronger.”

While Reif’s day ended in disappointment, Spencer Gallagher’s return to ARCA competition was a bright spot. Taking over the #24 backup car, Spencer navigated the Rockingham field with veteran precision and brought it home in 10th place—a solid result that showcased both his talent and the team’s adaptability.

Though the weekend didn’t go entirely to plan, there’s no question this team has what it takes to compete. With speed, experience, and determination on their side, SPS is only building momentum.

Tyler Reif is set to return to the #23 at Nashville on May 3rd, ready to bounce back and chase that podium finish. The season is long, and this team is just getting started.

The SPS team now turns its focus to Talladega Superspeedway, where Spencer Gallagher will take over the #23 car this weekend. One of the most iconic and unpredictable tracks on the schedule, Talladega offers a new opportunity—and the team is eager to make the most of it.
